Since learning to sew from my mom when I was young and being invited by my sister to take a quilting class thirty-some years ago, I have enjoyed the creative and meditative aspects of quilting. After making countless crib, college and wedding quilts for members of my large and loving family, my current favorite projects tend to be smaller in size. The 11″ block size of the Elements provided a perfect opportunity to try different techniques on a small scale. A deadline is crucial for me to get a piece finished. I have been part of Designing Quilters for several years and appreciate the friendship, encouragement and inspiration that we share.
